Hatching Redtail Egg Question

A Quick question
Redtail Egg pipped INTERNALY between 2100hrs and 0100 last night (cheeping and clicking were audible) . this morning still cheeping and banging away strongly..... I was just wondering for referance how long would he last before the rebreathing of air would cause suffocation if he didnt make the external pip ?

Hiya mate not sure about that,but my redtail pipped externally on a saturday at about 6pm then hatched on the sunday at 7pm

Pipped externally now Be intresting to know though for future referance.... I suppose this is where "Buddy" would come in handy
