View Full Version : General Gripe Section

Would it not be possible for the forum to have a general grip section where people who are having a grievance about something can openly discuss it in this section.
If a thread is going off course then those who concerned can continue there disagrement on the grip section. This may not be possible and is only a suggestion and an idea, seeing that there are quite a few people on the forum are getting distressed.
Cheers Joe

Umm no people are not like that my love they tend to swear, call names and drive each other in the ground and if there was no control that is the way it would be and stay on the rest of the forum.

Situation normal then, especially on a Friday night!

If you give people that impression then that is what people will do, as we are creatures of habit. In my book there is NO reason to kick off on a Friday night, I reserve that for any day or situation that I see fit.

Friday night has always been 'interesting'. Not my doing; the start of the weekend, a few drinks and watch out! Many people tend to let their hair down. Not usually for the benefit of all of us.

**** idea.....i thought we were all here to talk about falconry.....not gripe........
Me too, K has started two great Falconry related posts recently, with a hand full of members replying. Someone starts one to slag off the site, cause arguements or just have a bitch about the warning systems and we get pages of ****.
What kind of forum is this?
Steve.

It looks to me like this forums about to self destruct, caused by idiots and pettiness.
How its going right now it wouldnt be a loss, but with the right calibre of members and posts, its potential would be a shame to lose.

Yes we are here to talk about falonry and that is how it should be however, this does not always occur due to a number of reasons. Threads get started some are good some not so good but most are informative but are open to discussion difference of opinions will manifest due to individualism. This is always going to occur the reason I suggested the grip room was that when this starts to occur which it will again and again and again, then people could sort out their issues or disagrement there instead of the thread which could continue without the gripes.
Like I said it is just an Idea to stem open arguments

joe i just cant see an area to encorage/stem open arguments a positive thing myself...
for me if 2 members have a dissagreement they should take it to pm...or better still off the forum...
for me there is just too much negativity about at the moment...that has got worse since the focus of the falconry fair has passed....for me its positivty that needs bringing to the forefront at the moment
