Now that is a great pity. Old established forum members leaving? Methinks there is a big problem here.

Well, as a relative newcomer, I feel that it is of interest that long established members are leaving. It makes me feel that there is some underlying problem that goes much deeper than just the warning system.

What would be of even more interest is to know why they feel the need to leave.

Its a shame to see brian go, he has been a member on here for a bloody long time and a good contributer.

I have 3 PMs where people want to leave because of Renton and PDF, maybe you are the cause everyone wants to go.

If it makes you feel better Brain never left because of you two.

Criticised for making a valid comment?

If all it takes is for me to make a simple suggestion on how to run the warning system slightly differently, I would think you have an even bigger problem.

Criticised for making a valid comment? You were no critised said it was not needed and does not validate having a new thread.

Maybe or maybe not. Why treat us in this manner? PDF and myself are making reasoned comments as to how things could be improved on this forum. Why ignore and denigrate constructive criticism?

OK show me in your first post where you were helping, except to start more animosity on the forum?

That was somewhat under the belt. Where is your first useful post? Here is my most recent contribution to those seeking some advice: http://www.falconryforum.co.uk/showthread.php?p=309132#post309132

Animosity? Never! Reasoned and objective criticism is more my line.

My first useful post was the creation of this WHOLE site mate.

I am not here to do tit for tat with you.

Either get on with the falconry part of the site or say nothing.

Why? My attempts to discuss how this forum can evolve and prosper vanished yesterday. A very interesting chat with GregMik yesterday morning as to how this forum could be improved and flourish; my ideas might not always be right, yet more two-way communication is the best way forwards.

I'm not gloating. I would love to see an open, objective and reasoned discussion as to how this forum should evolve. GregMik has had the courtesy to seek my opinions. Let us all have some input.

HM, I would rather see that this thread is kept open for a while, let people air their views. Can we have an objective discussion whether by pm or chat sometime as to where this forum is going?
