These are all confiscated.... I worked very closely with the cops and the forest officials... Hence had the liberty to keep almost anything...  ;-) :supz:

You have no idea how jealous I am of you, I've always wanted a croc :-)
Found me a legiwaan when I was a kid and managed to hide it from my dad for about a week before he found out I had it and made me let it go. Didnt even get him to take food from me :-(

How long have you had it, what do you feed it, how fast will it grow? Could you train it to be like your guard crocodile so it gets a burgular when he's stalking about :-)

Jealous - me too!
Closest I've been able to get was last year at a wildlife park in london, I was lucky enogh to get to hold a baby caiman, & like everything else managed to make it go to sleep!
Got more pic's??

As mentioned....Anything other than BOPs are just kept for rehabilitation. This was confiscated by someone who kept in a tank at home... It had a few bruises on the tail.... Just kept it at home for 15 days and when the wound started to heal... I promptly released it.

I have never liked keeping reptiles as pets.... They respond to you except that they like to eat you when hungry...

Just rehomed 2 of my Anacondas, hadn't got the room for them as they were getting big. The green was only 3ft and the yellow only 7 ft. Both had attitude problems and the yellow was a real b~*ch!! Not goin take in any more big snakes. The pythons are gorgeous though.

How big is the Chilian rose? Ever get bitten by any of your spiders, just wondering what the effect of the bite is like. Boy that lizard looks like tomato ketchup covered in a silken lining:twisted:!!!...Gavin

I take it the spid you found is an ornamental, poeciltheria species? if so a bite from that would be much worse than a bit from a chilean rose.

Sorry its not the Indian ornamental(have heard of 2 people who got bitten by them and the effects are really painful), it is the Indian Violet(Chilobrachys fimbriatus) working on a paper which deals with the natural history and distribution of a few species of spiders(actually my friends are doing most of the work, I have a crazy amount of studying to do), this one came up on one of the surveying walks...Gavin
