 You want some freindly advice!
DO NOT IMPRINT A HARRIS HAWK UNLESS YOU WANT TO WEAR IT ON YOUR FACE :!:
A blunt and dogmatic statment, but its the best advice I can give you.
Such a bird will put you off falconry for life and it will be your own fault.
Infact, Who gave you this Idea :?:
It will be their fault :!:

Do not imprint harris!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BTW why to imprint HH when you never tried PR+imprinting harris has no reason, maybe some creche reard if you have Falconry center but I also saw brilliant PR harrises in display.
I always ask same question to new falconers here in Croatia when they said that they want imprint gos!!!! Than I asked them why, and they told me that they will be secured from escaping. Who ever is doing imprint of any kind of BoP for this reason shouldn't be involved in falconry untill he gets all basics.
You must know very well PR birds behaviour to make decision for imprint and to know purpose of this imprint.
You will much more enjoy with PR harris, I tried it and it is great!

best harris i ever flew was an imprint, she was 20 years old though and not trained by me, but i do agree that an imprint harris is a bad choice for a first bird, go for a parent reared
