Hello wondering if someone out there mite(parden the pun) be able to help.
My birds are freelofting and in nice moult but they are suffering from mite. We got them out and sprayed them wit johnsons anti mite. We then sprayed the avery with defest and put them back in. Upon looking on the internet we discovered that to stop mite you can put a vapona pest strip in the avery which attracts the mite so that the mite go onto the strip and not the birds, is this true?. But now found out that Vapona has been banned cause of a cancerous chemical so do you know if there is an equivalent? Has anyone suffered similar problems and can help with info on how to irradicate these little sods:twisted:

best thing to use is frontline,a quick spray under each wing is plenty, then ya can treat anywhere the birds been with indorex spray(but make sure ya birds well away when you do this and NEVER use it directly on the bird)
