hi guy and gals want to get into falconry already arranged to meet a couple peeps on here just wondering if anybodyelse wants to help out a newbie (but learning fast lol)

:supz: That is the way to do it, get the experience then the bird.
I would say that a this years bird would be too soon, tho I know nothing about you, so could be wrong. A whole winters hunting with some one else is the best way to learn and find out if you realy can commit to all the time and effort that is needed to do a bird justice. Hunting with some one else can be just as much fun (may be more as you dont have the problems and worries :roll: )

yeh thanks for the response going to go with chesire hawking club for a few days hunting (hopefully) and a couple of others on here have kindly invited me so will have to see ,

yeh wuld ike as much expeirience as poss im a firm believer in learn before you f**k up a deacent living animal :supz:
ps : could really do with amentor if anybody fancies it ?

Now yer talkin!!! A mentor is important,also bare in mind that it is good to get some experience before you get the bird,but every bird is different from the next.So there will come a stage not too far in the future when you will benefit from having your own bird.
