i heard of sum ppl flying through the moult, i was haveing a moment to day just wondering.

that if your out flying and your BOP manages to clock on to a sparrow nest or any kind of nest there natrual thing to dee is gobble them up,

has this ever happend to any one, and wots the worst case scenario that could happen?????????

my female hh has done this in the past
but hasn't made a habit of it.- yet!!!!
i do not, and would not fly thru the moult

i have seen a male actively searching out nests
and he was lost for a week after feeding up on pigeon chicks
but pigeons can and do breed right thru to late november
so there is a danger of this even after the moult

Im a believer in flying through the moult as everyone talks about stressing the bird out but surely after hunting every day for 6 months to it teathered to a perch or in small avery is going to stress the bird out more through the moult, in the wild they hunt all year and any wild birds ive seen always have perfect feathers:yawinkle:

i'm not saying flying through the moult is a bad thing
its just not my choice
i believe in giving the birds and animals
on my flying land a chance to recover
besides it'll be like taking from a baby
it also gives you a chance to see your wife and kids again
