While feeding my harris today I noticed he had grown back a completely white feather on his head. Hes not moulted alot of body and head feathers yet, but those he has are coming through very dark - except this one!! Its not at the site of any trauma, has anyone else experienced this?
My last harris had one head feather that always grew back sticking straight up following a collision with a fence, but this is a new one on me!!

When Greg and I went to band the peregrine chicks last week, Greg noticed that the male had a white feather in it's wing. Don't know how it got it, though.
