Hi - I am quite new here and to Falconry - am at the book reading and forum searching stage and would very much like meet up with a falconer in my area,in order to further my knowledge and possibly get a little 'hands on' experience.
I am a long way off getting a bird of my own as I have a whole lot of learning to do before I reach that stage.

So if any one can help please PM me - many thanks in anticipation - Bob.

hello falcon bob i live in north norfolk and if interested you are welcome to come and watch our birds in action.mid september is when i kick off and will be flying a chanting gos or a finnish gos still making my mind up and my mate has a male harris which could be usefull as most beginners start off with harrises.at least you can see one in action and decide if you want one or another species.give us a shout nearer the time and we can arrange it.

Following a kind suggestion that I might find helpful folk at The Essex Regional Meeting of The Welsh hawking Club I have been trying to contact their secretary via their web site - but- my emails have been retrurned as the email address given does not work.

Has anyone an up to date email address for their secretary ?

Or can anyone tell me if their meetings continue during the summer ?

I shall be most grateful for any info.
Many thanks,
Bob.
