Agreed

You will get 100 different answers on here, but you need to choose one method NOW and stick to it. Otherwise both you and the hawk will end up confused.

Get through the intial training then try feeding different foods and see what effect this has on his behaviour....every hawk is different.

No one can tell you what your hawk will do when fed rat/quail/pheasant/rabbit due to the incredible number of variables there are.

I can tell you that feeding rat on the glove is an incredibly unpleasant experience for the falconer :vom:

Apart from feeding rats and mice on the fist - although you can give that a go and find out for yourself....mind you some people might like the smell...

if a bop is given a good balanced diet then surely there should be no need to nutrients to its food as they dont get this in the wild and they do just fine ???
