Totally different m8, Terns are lightly built with long wings and tails, usually forked.
The Terns also have longer beaks than the gulls and have shorter legs.
They do not scavenge like gulls and normally catch small sand eels and fish fry by skimming the water and catching them in their beak.
If i were you i would go out and buy a bird watchers guide book, you do not want to be flying at unlawful quarry!
