do you not know of another falconer in your area who can pop in and feed your bird?
having to go and feed someone elses bird is a bit of a chore, but it works both ways. At least when your away on holiday you will know that there is someone competant looking after your feathered friend

I live near Preston, I know of one who I don't speak to anymore. I haven't got a bird yet this is the only thing putting me off getting one.
