Excellent box Lee, how much did it cost and how long did it take for Martin to make.

Lee
Had it a few weeks now, and yes very pleased with it, used all the time, might just have to raise the perch 1/4 - 1/2 inch for the tailguard clearance, plenty of head room though so not a problem.

Put a pick up Gary you should have told Matin what size you wanted he would have made it to suit.
If it thought i had to i would have Lee...
if you buy a pair of size 8 shoes they should fit..otherwise they aint size 8 are they??

True unless you are modifying the feet that go in them and you will read that a tail sheath was used to so that is what has made the difference. I am sure Martin will take this in consideration in future designs.

What dimensions are the box Gaz ? I would consider 24" to be the right height, 22" deep and 20" wide.
Anything shorter than 24" and you won't have room for a decent perch height and head clearance for the gos.

Mine is only 10 inches high so to cure the problem I cut the gosses legs off, fits ok now.

Gaz ............ Have you spoken to Martin? I am sure he will change it for the correct size M8. I buy my box's from Martin and have never had a problem with them. He is a nice guy and I am sure you will find that wires have become crossed at some point.
Terry

Completely agree mate and have since been to a vets who was able to sellotape the legs back on, he assures me this will be fine untill she grows new legs next year.

Sorry Gaz but when I read the posts it looked like you had got the wrong size box for your bird. :) Pleased you sold the box though.
I have found Martins box's are better than others on the market and they do not tend to tip over like some others do.
Terry
I did,It was,Its gone,dont want another,End of...:supz:
