Hi
After being out of Falconry for about 4 years, and when I was in only doing basic stuff at my local Bop Centre I am going to do a 5 day course; after discussing with a Hannah on Tuesday night I think I will go to Gauntlet Birds of Prey Eagle and Vulture Park in Knutsford, as its relatively local. BUT!!! I am also thinking of going to Scotland Phoenix Falconry Limited as it sounds like Hannah had great time there. Just wondering any opinions would be welcome pros and cons of both?

Hi
I could not say anything about the first place because i have never been there myself but i would not go to Phoenix Falconry Limited. Why not try Raptor World at the Scottish Deer centre. Stuart (director) is one great chap and you should learn a lot from him but make sure you ask for him for the week course so you don't get left with a trainee.

Maybe he better off asking Mickeydredd or Sighthound the have both attended there.

Why?
Anyway Phoenix do not do a five day course just a year long apprenticeship.

So did I.
And I'm sure Mickey would agree you would be hard pushed to find a better mentor,
still he does not suffer fools gladly
