This might sound a daft question and apologies if its come up before, I did hunt round the moult forum and couldn't find an answer.
My MRT has been freelofted in moult for 3mths now, its his first so I thought I'd let him rest through this one and fly him through next year. He made a slow start but is dropping them on a regular basis now and has just three deck feathers left. I've heard these are nearly always the last to change.
any thoughts ? I'm more concerned about bringing him out early and causing problems
