Welcome aboard ask as many questions as you like.
go to your course you may make some contacts there and once youve been youll have a greater understanding of the sport when and where is your course.

my course is with East Anglia Falconry Academy. It's the only one near me!! As far as i know there are no local clubs, so i am hoping to find some more info on ny courses.

Post your location on the google map, then find someone close to you and PM them. Most on here are very helpful.

My interest started when a close friend kept owls - i was always facinated!! Unoftunately he died a few years ago and i still haven't shaked the facination ith BoP.
I have just been on googlemap and there appears to be no one near to be a mentor - so if there is anyone about it would help!

If you are near to EAFA, then the BFC meets informaly near Diss once a month, and the Welsh Hawking Club meet at Fingerhoe (sp?) in Essex, and South East Falconry Group meet at Gravesend... or near to. Check their websites, you will find all the dates and contact numbers. Good luck, and have fun!
