you probably think im barking:roll: but has anyone ever went to a shop that sells leather suites and such and tried to cadge their old leather sample books i mean most samples are at least a foot square and good quality leather and theres loys of it!just a though and they will probably say no but was gonna try anyway:supz: and anything free is a bonus (most of the yorkshire lads will agree and maybee the scots pmsl)

i gave it a go, got quite a lot of sample but had to say it was for school project some said no, but not all leather is for good quality but good for pratising
I"d say you were barking if you didn"t:o ..good source for me anyways in the past...go for it:yawinkle:

why not anklets? fair enough if its thin and poor quality,i have a sofa made from analine leather (supposedly the very best quality and cut:?: and must be 2mil at least)so they must have samples of this:confused:stop me if im wrong ive no problem being shot down in flames pmsl

Its tanned differently to the type of leather that is used for falconry, It may be 2mm and good quality, but wouldn't last up to the vigours of beeing wrapped around the legs of a BOP, getting soaked, covered in blood, guts and dirt etc. :lol:

ive spilled god knows how many kebabs down it which are basicaly made of blood guts and dirt ,also my youngest thinks she is a f***ing gerbil and gnaws on it constantly it still looks good fpmsl:lol: :supz:

Use poor quality leather for anklets at your peril, leather for settees isn't the best option for anklets.
