The thermostat went in my brand new Octagon 20 plus about 6 hrs after putting eggs in it. It took 6 days for a replacement thermostat to arrive.
I wasn't pleased.

We've used an Octogon 20 for four years now and haven't had any problems with it other than humidity, It turned out to be a bad piece of hose or poorly positioned and the problem went away when we replaced it.

Hi I bought a Maino ME3A about three years ago, it is reliable easy to use and clean, I have had very good results hatching Guinea Fowl quail and pheasants. Maino have an updated model out this year it is claimed that it performs like the Octagon 40. I found one on ebay for £130

so what is needed and how to make such an incubator yourself?
Are there any descriptions somewhere. On the net or available with some members here?
