Hi Everyone,
I have been interested in falconry for a while now,and read various articles and posts about the sport.I am on the point of purchaseing my first Harris Hawk.And as I am now retired i will have the time and patience to give to the bird.
I see many birds advertised in Magazines and papers,I do not really want to take that route as i think it better to buy of a specialised breeder.
Also i am not sure what age bird to buy as conflicting information says buy a trained one,and then says buy a youngster.
Anyway i will not ramble on.and once again Hello Everyone.

Hi baz & welcome. Answer to yer question: Train with a trained bird and BUY a young bird. And ONLY once yer trained (otherwise the bird will train you, and you *and* the bird will have the scars to prove it)....

hi m8 you will like it on here i would get a parent reared youngster rather than a hh thats all ready trained you could be getting someone elses problem good luck with what u decides:supz:
