Hi All

For you Gos men out there :D

I have had to make a seperate pattern for GosHawks to get "the fit" I think is best..... you Gos lads will tell me from the pics ....what do you think?

PR 1lb 12oz (from the Pen) Fin/Ger GosHawk Male (size 48S)

Hi Griff

Chuffs here!

The hood you sold to me at the fair last year was a maynes hood made out of Roo i think.
Apart from being the most universal fitting hood ,it is a fantastic fit for my new female goshawk, ask Gaz and hawkman69.

Mr gaz was trying to steal it for himself.

My view is make more of these for gosses as they mould to the head and gape great.

I guess this adjustments for better fit with gos also count for spar and other accipiters? ;-)

No different to normal prices ... £20 for glued and £30 for Sewn :)

Hi All

The Gos's measurement behind the eyes was 44mm therefore the size of hood is a 50S (50mm in Falcon terms) ...the shape of accipter's head means that the hood needs to be bigger in order to get the correct nape position and also a narrower gape. This is a recently taken passage Gos and the pictures have been taken on the same day that the hood was first tried on :D
