Hello everyone, I'm Mike a newcomer in the world of falconry. I became interested a year or so ago when a work colleague Kev (Mass) brought his Harris Hawk for me to see. I've since seen his work with the Imprint Sparrowhawk and this has encouraged me even more.
I am in the process of getting ready to take a Hawk myself under the tuition of Kev,and would appreciate any advice that is available.
I have already started the research, I know this is a hobby that should not be taken lightly.

Welcome mate. The best advise I would give you is to take your time and pay attention to details.
Oh, and try and find a decent mentor:lol:

Soz Kev, just kidding, honest:goodman:
You are a lucky man Mike. Some people try for years to get a Mentor with such experience and most never find one.

You'll have a great time - its much better having a mentor who can give you 1 on 1 tuition then anything else. Best of luck,
Han
