Neil Forbes gave are club a talk on first aid last Monday. It was quite interesting. Went into great death on the subject's we wanted him to talk about. After he was selling these first aid kit's. Club discount they cost £20.00 well worth it if you ask me. Obviously you are not going to do major operation's but theses kit's could just get you out of trouble until the next stop the vets. There are easy read instructions for each item. If enough people want them I can ring Neil and ask him if he can do some sort of deal. Tell me what you think.

Will do. I just thought that this was a good bit off kit to have as a falconer. It does not matter who we get them off. Just try to encourage more people to have them...

it really does suprise me that there is a lot of intrest in this item now just because a vet is selling them when really they should be a part of any falconers kit as this first aid kit has being on sale for a fair number of yrs

bought my first kit before I took possesion of my bird, it's something I always carry when out hunting, or if the car is close I leave it there. It amazes me as well that people dont carry a basic first aid kit, let alone not own one.

Same reason I bought the new one for £18.50, although factor in P&P it probably worked out cheaper for you to buy from him direct.

just spoke to westweald falconry and he gets the kits direct from neil forbes his self and as we speak westweald will be putting there kits up by 5 quid so if neil is selling them for 20 then they will be the cheapest around

So to get this right Frogman....this is a decent offer to the forum members, bearing in light that the cost has gone up across the board?

I think Neil was selling them for £26.00 pounds at the vet's but as he was at club he sold them for £20.00 to BFC members.:D I personally would have payed £30.00 they are well worth it...

already got one great bit of kit had a falcon chase a rook into a water bowser on a tip, by the time I could got her out she was really far gone (from the cold not drowning) that kit saved her life for certain (glucose and space blanket) would recommend at £100 !!

I have one of the kits also, something i think we should all have and as Onyx says, well worth the money and it could make the difference between a bird on it`s perch or asking yourself why is it not and could i have done anything!
