Just a few pic's of our new Imprint Finnish Female she is not at Fat weight yet, we intend to take her weight back up and then retrain her to try and form a bond with her, she was on the scales this morning at just over 3lbs completley empty

The Female from Rob is doing fine Gaz we still have her in a chamber at the moment and she is almost ready to pick up. The reason we put her in there is that during the really hot weather before coming here she did not eat well but now she is putting on weight nicely. What I intend doing is putting her in the Hack pen next week when we have shipped our Falcons out that way she will get fit and muscle up at full weight so after 3 weeks she should be ready to pick up for training I have never tried this with a Gos before and I think it is worth trying, it works well for the Falcons so I will let you all know if it works out

Hi Sara..........Yes the punched hole has a purpose when your Hawk gets it's legs wet it softens the scaleing and the anklets can rub on the leg makeing it sore much the same as you or I walking in wet jeans it will chaff the skin. The little hole allows a bit more air flow around the leg inside the Anklets and so assists in helping not only the leg dry quicker but also the anklets.
Not many falconers use this any more but the old school will.

Hi colin......She has settled in great and she seems to like Simon, I think it must be the big belly that attracts her :butthead:
Will let you know how she goes on but it now seems she has to be back hunting by Wednesday as Wez has just thrown the challenge in and the Kent Rebel Imprint won't stand for any **** from the Bristol Mafia Rebel Imprint and he wants it bare fisted no Pads  Should be fun, anyone got a spare bacon slicer so we can get some weight off her quick?

Nice one Wez XL will do me, should be a good laugh even if you don't catch anything there seems to be an explosion in the Rabbit population here and the Pheasants have done well too but we have to leave them untill the season starts. Trojan is looking forward to meeting Saxon so she can show him the ropes
See you next week

Sparrow is working on the new set up at the moment but he has to change a lot of codeing and it is not a 5 min job, so please bear with him and the Forum will return to normal.
The reason you can't see any Pic's at the moment is because we are running in High Security mode in a bid to stop the hackers again once the work has been finnished by Sparrow all will return to normal

She is a bird of the Year M8 (2006) you will have to ask Colin (FalconQuester) about the breeding as he incubated and hatched the eggs for someone else but I got her from Colin and as you can see on the Hunting threads she is doing well now she has settled down with Simon
Terry

Hi Kenny........Yes that is the Breeder I just checked the paperwork. She has improved 100% over the last few weeks and is now on a kill per day, we intend to leave her like that for now so that she learns that we will not rob her of her kill
