Crow cooking ?
boil the crow with a silver tea spoon
when the spoon is soft, the crow is ready.

haven't tried it yet for gulls or magpie, but should...

for the rest I mean, anything that got catch fill up the freeze for moulting time, only justice.

for young woodies and even young rooks just remove the breast, flatten slightly with a tenderiser, put some olive oil in a bowl put in a generous spoon of steakhouse pepper/steakhouse rub (these can be got from asda, tesco and the like on the spice rack) marinade the breasts for 30 mins or so , heat up a griddle pan, there is no need for oil on it and gridle the breasts for a couple of mins on both sides, serve on toasted baguet or breadbun with rocket salad and homemade mayo:supz: best supper i can think of

For older pheasants (December onwards) you cant beat casserolling them in cider with apples, served with a nice mash and vegetables of your choice ( I like the pickled beetroot you get from Ikea)

You can roast pheasant, but it dries out easily - I cover them fully in streaky bacon to keep the moisture in.

I eat about half of what i catch, like to save some for the birds.. For partridge and pheasant, game pie, but not served cold like pork pie.. partridge, pheasant and a few nice thick chunks of bacon, nice thick gravy and pastry lid.. gorgeous..
Not a huge fan of rabbit meat, but i have had bunny burgers before, very tasty.
