It is a grass snake.........the pictures make it look like a monster, it was in fact about 4 inchs long and had only just hatched....:heart: :supz:

Mate: You have seen her....built like a navvy and muscles like steve irwin.....she wrestled it to the floor and held it in her arms until I hit it on the head with a saucepan.....:supz: :supz:

do you have a compost heap in your garden,as the adults usaly lay there eggs in them and use them as a natural incubater to hatch out there eggs.
there totaly harmless. and there protected.

where we go with our hh weve saw a lot of adders there this year always beside the boggy bits,me mate shats himsel when we see one funny as ever haha,salty:supz:

ben tell lucy to go straight to a snake doctor, cos believe it or not thats a "ring knecked black back" the rarest snake in shropshire one look can make a girl pregnant the only cure being anti biotics from a snake doctor L.O.L

Well I was lucky, little corn snake bit me, and a Royal python (only a little one!) My dad got bit by a 17ft burmese, didn't hurt me though!!

knew them adders were poisinous ,but i didnt know they can kill a grown man,[expert said on tv ]i wont be doin me steve irwin impersionations wi them no more when i come across them when out wi the bird,cos i was [stupid now when its sunk in]salty::oops:

Did anyone see the news tonite. Some bloke in the North East was woken up by his wife who said she had been bitten by a snake whilst in bed. She did not see or hear it but was left with two puncture marks and was suffering from the effects of the poisonous bite. Was taken to hospital and it transpired she had actually been bitten by an Adder. In her own bloody bed.!!!!!!!
