lost tail feather

as i have stated earlier in a post today i had lost my male harris on having him back and checking him over,it now seems he has lost a middle tail feather:( how/will this affect him in this coming season he has finished his moult(by the way) thanks.:-|

by just looking at his tail the feather in question hasent snaped,it seems that it has just come away from (under his arse)o what ever you call it,and if it does need imping is there any threads on here that i can follow for some advive thanks.:rolleyes:
