This little beasttie was mentioned on another thread but i cant seem to find it, and i wanted to find out more about it and how you can treat your bird for it. It was mentioned using frontline spray and i was just wondering wether this is the best method used to keep flat fly off your bird when hunting crow and rook, and how often do you have to spray your bird to keep these little sods at bay. If there is any other methods of treating your birds for any other investations that they may get from crow/rook please let me know. Cheers KEV

Hi Kev

If you see one on your bird get the Johsons spray on her!!!! You cant do much about FF if your taking Corvid with her or any other feather species for that matter. If your taking the Black stuff home with you stuf it in a plaggy bag and spray ...if your keeping it for food etc leave in the freezer for a couple of days to kill all the little nasties.

Keep a can of Johnsons handy in the car and in your bag...... and try not to "scream like a girl" if you feel one on you whilst driving
