Cool so things are going pretty average then no neck breaking pitches yet then, keep us updated anyway I am not flying partridge will Sharpe yet due to ther still being so many young coveys around. Coveys seem to have a lot of young be later an later each year and finding the right set ups for ducks is hard at the moment but will get better.

Hi Carl

I thought "set up for Ducks" was your game.... your "Hooke'd" on them. Must be great casting off in the usual place walking up to the pond and throwing some stones at them .... or setting the dogs on them..... watching them come off the pond with your falcon in the usual place waiting to be served. She must know here game by now ;)

No such luck here I am afraid...... although my Tiercel has hit a Drake over the lake .... but couldnt bind because of the water...... couple of days and Poults are on the menu..... so looking forward to putting all into some nice easy targets ....and then onto the partridge hopefully.... with a bit of luck this weather should turn and it will cool down.

If you fancy pitching your tiercel over one of 20 odd ponds just let me know, Seems easy we'll see.

End of Ocotober is when the weather starts cooling down and the season really starts for most.
