is there anyone else still got there birds dropping feathers as just been into the muse and found 2 more feathers on the floor is anyone esle still got there birds dropping feathers and anyone got any tips food wise to help speed my falcon up a touch.
i have been giving her quail everyother day and keeping her at top weight,

oh yes,,, my mhh is moulting as slow as he can...and he has got the order totally wrong. A deck was 2/3rd down when the other popped its head out.

Your not alone....frustrating reading everyones threads...mines caught this mines caught that. Mines got 3 wks to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:oops:

My male harris hawk too,hes just finished i think!!well i hope!!his decks have got to come down a bit further though!!everyone elses threads are making me feel like im so behind so im glad im not the only one!!:lol:

She is obviously hanging it out to get the benefit of all that top tucker!
Why race around the skies when you can have quail delivered to you.:P

My pere/saker is still dropping the odd one, I mounted telemetry and bell mount last week as his tail is pretty much done I am flying him now. Even if your bird isnt 100% complete as long as most is moulted I would start getting fitness up.

my old f/male gos has about another month to go with her moult luckily i have another ready to fly :yawinkle:

yes .same here .....first moult and he's doing his own thing ,forget the books he's dropping just whatever feathers he feels like.He has his decks plus a few but they are not on the inside .and he's outter primaries got .no middle ones but two inside !.as for chest and back ..some sort of higglety pigglety thing going on there too ......

dont worry about your bird moulting late!
admittedly those flying first year birs will be out there walloping the quarry whilst you sit there watching feathers grow... but fear not! odds are that your bird will drop its first feather next spring LATER than those birds flying now!

MVS 30 , rats n mice . plenty o sunlight??? not much else really unless you go for EXTREME moulting as detailed on another thread by a VERY expereienced man from USA.
