Kite Equipment

What do I need to buy, apart from the kite, what works and what doesn't.

So far I have a 12ft Delta, and I've seen the Rutland Fence winder that I can get for about £20, but what line do I need and what's the best release kit to get?

I think that Julian @ Falconers Emporium does a release system that is excellent, you might want to give him a PM or go to his webby to have a look.

Also, if you go to my webby and look through the links section you will find a falconry Kite maker in there who has a break down of all Kite equipment :)

Hey Julian ,always been a Dan Leigh man my self for kites but had one of yours given off Chris Gilchrist and nice like,am inprested at how steep it was at 2500ft of line out,open my account lol.
