just reading in this weeks countrymans that mick cawston died suddenly aged 47 on the 13th oct,some of his paintings where unbelievable and really captured country sports as it is ,you could sense the atmosphere in his art

shame he really was a great artist!!! captured hunting as it should be,with the working animals always at the forefront!!!

He was an amazing artist and a freind. He inspired me and taught me a great deal. His death was a tragedy and a great shock to everyone who knew him.
