I use the tassell for hanging the glove up.

I used to do that, until I pulled it off the hook one day, it snagged and I broke the damn tassle :roll: I use the D-ring now :lol:

in theory its meant to habitate the hawk to only fly at the falconer and not to anyone elses bare hand,well that was the idea in the 18/19 th centries
