Had the misfortune to need the vet urgent today...had the great fortune to meet vet Mark Evans again(he trained with Dick Best:supz: )..excellant service and very proffesional and knowledgable avian vet,..(he even appolagised for taking so long to get to see me...only 35 mins!!)
also,did not get "bent over" on the bill !!
All in all,very competant,and highly recomended.
There are two "avians" there,Mark & William Easson


p.s.
Dre, the Gos,has a trauma to his ear/drum/canal & the equal to a black eye in us..
will put him down till i get home from n.a.f.a,,sh#t happens:roll:
hes looking very comfortable though....

haven't dealt with Mark (too far away) but I have had occassion to deal with Dick Best. Absolute gent and always so helpful. Live a long way from him so I would email photo of any injury, odd lump etc and if he thought it was straightforward he would advise by reply. Saved me a fortune, so sad he's retired. (not expensive either). we need more avian vets spread about the country.

Dre is now eating properly(couldnt open his beak 'right up'..swelling/sore)and,hopefully,back to his old self..heres a pic with his 'bad side':) showing....

and,what i thought to be a nice gesture,i had a phone call from the vet on Wednesday,asking how the bird was...top dollar:supz:
