Here is the hood I mentioned.. It is far from complete as it needs braces and some fin tuning, just wanted to show what I had talked about..
It has the fit of a Dutch but with a Syrian flare..
I will have 4-5 versions of it available, lizard, snake, tooled and carved or another that I will unvail at a later date.

Thanks PB,, the more I make this hood the more I like it,, The fit is the key and it is a great fitting hood,, certainly not over the top like some of mine,, but like them the best..

Hey DDog,,
Many Thanks,, Fit is always key to any hood,,Paintings, dye jobs tooling etc are secondary,, The beak opening which we all have different opinions on is key..Some like this style some like that,, to me ???
Is the bird comfortable?? Does the hood do what is suppose to do? Nothing else matters..
BUt when you can combine both??? WOW!!
Just my opinion of course..
Cheers,,

Can you send the hoods over as gifts as in the past anything over $35 we have to pay import tax.

Hey PB,
About 1/3 of my business is from the UK, none of my customers have had a problem that I know of.
A 50.00 US hood is only about 25.00 in your currency so it should not be an issue..

Ken,
That last one is the biz mate!
How much for one of those to the North East UK, all in for a Tiercel Pere? Also, do you have any pics of hoods u have made for Female Harris?

Hello SRider,,
Thank you for your kind words,, I think that lizard Weyburn would look great on a per!!
I sell that style with the lizard eyes with a two toned (completely tooled) center panel for 60.00 US and shipping is 8.00 to the UK..
I have not made that hood for any Harris hawks yet, mainly falcons and one golden eagle..
I have made dozens of my other styles for Harris hawks,,

Great work Ken!
Looks like a good fit, and very nice look to them.
I am just having a go with a hood myself right now (Maynes hawk hood). Thanks again for the patterns :D
