Heh, I'd like to know if anyone out there would share in there bell making experience? I'm quite familiar with the process but would like to communicate with someone about technique. I'm a craftsman/falconer searching to learn this ancient art.

Hi Phoenix, I´m a spanish falconer and am making bells since 4 years, and it was quite difficult to get information of the tools needed, materials and little "secrets", I attach a picture of my square bells. I can only speak of my experience and of my process of building this bells, I suppose that there are great bell makers with a lot more knowledge but I heve learned all on my own, so if I can help you you are welcome.

Hi Jaen,
They look like very nice bells. Can you explain why they have a double loop on them please?
hi Pogger, the little loop is purely ornamental, the big loop gives you the option, depending which way you attach the bell, tha it is more or less separated from the birds tarsus.
