Hi all,
today I am very happy. In fact after two weeks of hard work I have started to see the results. Unfortunately the tiercel that I have purchased did not have the full training that he deserved but now I am dedicating every single day to him but today is special. I have, another time(that is the reason why my thread has the title II)mentioned that the kite for me is magic but today is special.
In fact is essential to train a bird and I want to thank my master and my friend(and I am proud to say my friend)Paul(hawkmaster) that is helping me also with this technique. Today Neo(my tiercel) went up 300 ft and it was awensome and this coupled with a flight of a 12 years old female saker at 100ft let should you see how happy I am. I know it is not hunting but for me is pure adrenaline to see birds that in one day fly so high.
Waiting for comments
Cheers

its good to see them going up high they get a lot fitter especially if they are out every day
my harris soars over 300ft on the hills same with my gyr/saker
my lanneret is starting to climb up to about 150 ft and as you say its the rush you get watching them climbing up or on the stoop back down cant beat it unless they catch somthing aswell

Today was **** My plan is to have a tiercel that catch crows, so I am working with the fundamental help of Paul(Hawkmaster)on fitness. So the kite is really magic and without the wind is beautifull, I agree, to watch them flying but with the kite, and you could understand me, it is totally different:supz:

from your experience can you tell me this: im about to get my pere/barb flying to the kite just for exercise i dont plan on hunting him, is this still ok? hope so because i want to get him stooping from and release system so i can get as close to seeing a full blown stoop but without finding the ground and game to hunt:) will this work?

IME you will have all sorts of problems, regardless of radio controlled releaeses etc etc, but good luck anyway

Sorry if I am late on writing for this topic, but I have been very busy during the last two weeks.
Anyway I think that kite is the answer to everyone who wants to achieve two things
1)Fitness(essential for an hunting bird)
2)Joy.......( in observing the falcon flying very high!!!)
Never seen a 12 years old saker(that spent the last year in aviary) flying so well and high with joy and freedom!!!If there is another technique that could give me more that I will go for it!!!But I am addicted and also your hybrid will get ready to hunt in this way and you can fly everyday teaching him/her to improve all the strenghts.
Cheers
