Anyone experience with this situation ?? Is it still possible to convert the Falcon in a good Crowfalcon ??
Thanks for your comments.

depends on the bird.
how old is it? how long has it been flown to a lure? has it previously shown any interest in hunting?
may take a fair bit of work and perseverance....

I was discussing this subject with a German friend of mine. Bird is now five years old, and has been flown on the lure for almost five years.

if you can get 20-30 good hard stoops to the lure out of it with crows wings on there you should be able to turn it around (fitness is the key) i had the same thing afew years ago but got the bird fit got the larsen trap out only needed half a dozen dead crows and the lure machine and she was away never looked back :supz:
Start flying it to a black lure with crow/rook wings atatched. After a while strart using a dead crow as a lure. When she catches the dead crow lure move in quickly & put some quail or similar tasty food under the wings of the crow. This will convince her crow tastes good as some falcons find crow, especially cold crow unpalletable. Once it gets the hang of this find a couple of easy slips & with a bit of luck once having tasted a couple of warm kills the job should be done!
