Musical Talent..

Hello all, im bored and curious this evening, so heres the question.. Do you play an instrument, if so what and how long have you been playing?

I'll get ya started, i play a bit of drums, never been formally taught, just stuff ive picked up along the way. I can also play a few numbers on the piano/keyboard, i learned from when i was about 7-10, so its just what i can remember.

So, any budding rock musicians amongst our ranks?:supz:

Played recorder at primary school went to high school played trumpet in brass band and orchestra.

Now i played double bass, bass guitar and keyboard. i,m in the process of learning the chanter which is not going well i am finding it hard and has cost me £200 as i knocked my 2 porcelain veneers and they broke so had to get fixed.

If ever I can afford to retire like some I know, then even at my age I would like to learn to play the Saxaphone and my chosen piece of music would be "Lily was here".

Really????! Me and Cyclone had a didgeredoo at Download Festival this year, we were a bit **** at playing it though :P

I can play my 9 month old daughters winnie the pooh keyboard.
my 5 year old son has just learned me how to play twinkle twinkle little star.
might of been on top of the pops next week if it had'nt been pulled.LOL

have played in a couple of bands, one which was hardcore/punk, and another was post hard core (noise!) and another was just me and a mate doing acoustic covers of bands such as incubus and foo fighters

Played classical Violin for 30 yrs, toured continent in youth orchestra twice. Also play acoustic guitar and clarinet.. and can get a tune outta almost anything:yawinkle:
