Hi All

Just to let you know that we are possibly purchasing the full "Stoddart" Hood block range covering 54 sizes:!: To add to our hood block collection that we are currently using .... Rollins and Tait blocks. The Stoddart blocks will be a welcome addition and a proven quality asset to our Dutch Hood range.

I have just received a Tiercel Block (31) and a Falcon Block (36) and will be making hoods from them shortly.

These hood blocks are VERY proven and have been used by such hood makers as Clayton Smith & John Moran in the USA.

I look forward to posting some pictures of the newly made Stoddart Blocked hoods shortly. :supz:

Wasnt gonna tell you Griff..but..
last week Jack had breakfast with us and talked us through his scrapbooks..hoods,patterns,pere's.gosses,history.. all there..a history of american falconry...good stuff..took us through everything, ill treasure it,these guys are not getting any younger and it needs to be all archived..hence Kent Karnie..who by the way,was presented with one of your hoods for the "archive of falconry" in Boise,Idaho....from The Bristol Boys.He gladly accepted it and sent his regards...:yawinkle:

Hi All

A basic pattern has been drawn up for the Tiercel block and alterations to the paper pattern will be made once the fit has been studied on the Tiercel.

As a matter of intrest how many different hood styles do you make now?, which is your favorite fitting hood and which type do you get the most pleasure making. Most set you back a fair bit in stock do you get a sore wrist and eye's from working with such small items?

I have to agree with Gaz and Guy, Griff. I personally observed them many times in Kearney risking their lives just to get those treasures back home to you. There were many dangers especially when they tried to make it past the deadly, but rare and absolutely gorgeous Western Sporting Publications Fox, err um girl, no she was a FOX. Gaz was magnificent in his resolve and Guy had his back all the way. They both deserve hoods!!!:supz: :supz:
My Very Best,

Gaz   What makes you think she would have the slightest interest in your white purrellant puffy flesh!!! Your hardly a swarthy adonis........ or are you the Bristolian equivalent

Did someone mention the ugly words "Free" & "Give" ...... and in the same sentence...... I have had to sit down after that combination of grammer.

The blocks are great though...... and Gaz .... I thought I was having the Tiercel hood!
