I have a four year old unrelated pair of Peregrines that have been flown together and spent last year moulting out together! they courted, passed food but did not copulate!! The falcon made scrapes on both the shelf(which had pea gravel on) and made a scrape on the floor in the bark. Having spoken to the old man he has asked me to ask anyone on the forum for pics of breeding chambers so that we can make nest boxes or whatever is needed to give them the best chance of success!! It would be greatly appreciated has he has flown bop for over 30 years but never flown anything he has bred himself!!! I think a lot of people would be interested to see how it is done!!
Thanks in advance
Bob

I take it she didn't lay either? If she did and they were not fertile it is not unusual for the males to not get the idea untill they are five + years old.
Sorry, no pics because I am at work....

No she did not lay and he did not cover her!! but we put them in late and we removed the male when he had some damage to his leg after about 4 weeks he looked has though he had been rolled round in the mud so he went into another aviary for a week or two to recover when we plucked up courage to return him they continued to court and she would sit in her "nest* but no eggs were laid!! they remained together through the rest of the moult with no further incidents!!.....
