For those people on here who gamehawk,
do you only fly your birds when you are going out hunting or do you still fly them to the thrown out lure in between hunting?
Personally i fly them to the lure most days just to keep there interest up but i know some differ.

I would never contemplate,, flying a gamehawk, without guarenteed game under it,, this could incure allsorts of bad habits, if you have no accses to game , dont bother,, its a waste of your time,, and the birds,, and will eventually go ti*s up!!!
Once up and running fly game only, enough misses will give obedience training! No sooner they become ace or too reliant on there game i like to give them a couple of days game free retrieve work!

Its just that when i cant hunt with them i like to give them a bit of excersise to the thrown out lure,it doesnt seem to affect there pitch & there is always a days meal on the end of it.

Exercise,,, something humans created,,, cause we feel guilty about our food source!!!!! in the animal kingdom, energy exersion, for wich leads to, fitness and stamina!! laziness,, an idle human! in the animal kingdom,, effiency!! eventually, your bird will fly at check, or lower his pitch, realising you dont need height, to catch food on the ground,, yuove just been lucky so far!!!

What happens if the guarenteed game turns out to be a false point, you have the falcon waiting on overhead expecting to be served, what then??
