Just like your problem before, I used cable ties, but seems that it does not working properly sometimes. Started to think of the original one.

the originals are nice i think it fits in nicely! but i also think it can clog up the leg with too much equipment so im constanly checking that hes ok with it!! so far he hasnt realy played with thme and he doesnt seem to be affected by them so we're happy with them!! have you seen Flamehaired Falcoenrs thread?? thats really good for showing you how to make them!

Yep, I've read her thread and I already made some today, wow it's that easy. For the first time, I couldn't really think of how to make it. Then cable ties was the best answer for me, I thought. Not longer after that, I guessed using cable ties was sort of an odd way to attach the bells. Kind of liking the original one best!
Btw, still I got problem about the length of the bewits for a tiercel Peregrine. Mine are rather long, until the bells touched his toes sometimes and hit the ground. Is that okay? I saw some pictures showing the same length I guess, the bells are hanging till touching the bird's toes so I guess mine are okay.
Another problem is that my bird doesn't seem happy with the equipment (anklet, jesses, bewits + bells, hood). He bites them everyday, even in hooded condition, seemed very uncomfortable and annoyed by them. I saw the jesses and anklets kind of teared up. I guess I should change them soon. Got to buy more hides then.

Your bewitts should not be that loose that the bells hit the falcons toes. While your falcon is hooded, make up the bewit so that the bell is on it and then measure round your falcons leg - then punch the holes etc. I make mine up to be quite tight initially as the leather will loosen over time. In addition make sure you give your leather strips a good stretch before making them into bewits.
