Have had my gyr/saker from Ian garland now for 6 weeks and have had him out on the dreaded creance over the last 2 weeks today was the day to cut the string and hold one's breath! Had him at1lb 13 7/8oz came to the lure like a dream so pulled it away and got a great response went up and round like a dream 3 times called him in 1chick on the lure and back on the glove for one more. The next flight was great again lure away over and above only this time he spots some gulls on the thames oh ok dad be back in a mo just want to have a bit of fun with these boys first well all I can say is Wow had two of them on the run great ambush technique and wanted to do more but his fitness level was'nt up to it so it was three or four runs round me and then back down to the lure.

Over the last couple of weeks I have been trying to decided rook and crow or pheasant and partridge it is a bit of a choice as I have land for both but i also have a large plot of land that has rather a large head of gulls so I am kind of thinking what the hell if he wants to put the effort in once he is fit then I am not going to stop him.
So if anybody has some gull wings that they could flog me then I would more than happy to pay!

regards
Steve
