My best friend and hawking partener passed away last night in a tragic accident. he flew a mhh in a caste with my female, he has met a few members of the forum and put everything in to getting the best from his hawk that had previously been mistreated, and did a bloody good job of it- at 16 he was to young to go....

Can't tell you how sorry I am Adam. I lost a mate, Kevin, a few years back. We started out together more than 35 years ago. Even to this day I can't be out in the field without thinking of him.

I'll raise the Flask to your friend on my next hunt!
Chin up Adam,

Adam, just a thought, but there are so many tributes and condolences on here that it might be a nice idea to print them off and give to his parents. They will be too sad to bother with them at the moment but in future they might read them and gain some small comfort from so many caring members:cry:
