Awsome video Dave, Cracking pictures, gotaa admit the Kes man is an awsome little bird and just goes to show that the kestrel is a great wee bird to the lure.

really weird how that kes sticks around
mine goes to a tree sits down, sees the lure come fly's past, sits in another tree turns around and again. i made the mistake of giving the lure when he sat down the first few times. now it's imposible to get it out.
mine only stays in the air when there is no possibility to sit down.(rare)

what happened to the idea of moving the perch right into the audience so someone gets lucky everytime???

really missin flyin at the mo.
still, the season is coming soon , and you will have to keep an eye out for all the weegie luvlies , and the fifers , not to mention the folk with a goldie hunting sparrows in their garden .

brilliant! puts both the kes's that ive flown way to shame, one was a runty little male, flew at the same weight as the jack merlin in the team, lazy wee ****** and realy hard to build fittness. the other a female that was trained specificly to hover, and was reluctant to chase the lure.
