I have been asked over the past few months for a no fuss, inexpensive field hood. One, that if you lose it you don't pull your hair out looking for hours upon end trying to find your 50-100.00 hood. This is a BLOCKED SEWN Anglo style hood, with Web lon braces for $25.00 US or 12.86 GBP plus shipping. Sizes for Tiercel Pergrines up to female ferrug hawks..
Your choice of one color for the body of the hood. The throat slash and top knots come in dark brown, clay brown , black as pictures or natural color.
This is the perfect hood for training your newly acquired hawk or falcon, if it gets beaten up simply order another. Also ideal for shipping young birds to their final destination.

Mike, Redtail,
Thank you,, I have had many e-mails asking for a simple "working mans' " hood. I have used this hood on my 3/4 gyr and liked it very much,,I of course tooled mine up abit but if you are wanting a hood that "Does the Job" here it is,, It offers a great deal of room at the front of the hood and pinches back slightly at the rear. There is ample "Eye" room for any species of raptor and the bell shaped beak is an almost perfect "Universal" fit..
AND of course it is very affordable,,

nice looking hood ken but surely this is the same type of hood we can make ourselves, and as i have always said before would be nice to see it on your 3/4 gyr for the fit. all the best in your fitting,

Quiver, For sure the Anglo is a VERY simple hood to make. I am just offering an affordable blocked field hood to those that do not have blocks,or the time nor the patience to make their own hood , nothing more.
I have many pictures of my hoods on my birds or other falconers birds on my web site. Please go to the gallery section and enjoy the slide show.
Fawkes could be ,I have the book but really have only tried a few of his patterns and that was over twenty years ago now when I first got into falconry, I will have to check..
