Do many people use broody bantams for incubating there bop eggs?

Would you allow 10 days of natural incubation with the parents before placing the eggs under the bantams? What's the success rate been like and at what stage do you take the eggs away from them?

Cheers,

SH

Hi SH, planning to use bantams this year, always used incubators in the past, you can do it a few differant ways, this is how i will do it , expect eggs soon [hopefully] will take eggs as they are layed [pulling] , ending on leaving the falcon with dummy eggs, when i have a clutch of 3/4 i will put them under the bantoms , got 3 sitting real tight as we speak , will probably go 2/3rds of the term of incubation, depends, then transfer to incubater , then hatcher, anything that hatches will hopefully go back with the falcons or be kept out for imprinting, heres my bantams they are sussex/silky, with one pure silky , she has just started laying , mark.
