I myself use this type of incubator. It is a little more expensive than TX 6.But is reliable. We do not use the automatic turner but turn the eggs manually 3-4 times per day.I have bad experience with thin shelled Peregrine eggs 10 years ago.Since then I order Lyon incubators without automatic turner. In addition the same incubator may be used as a brooder if one uses a steriopor foam 15 cm high bend in a circle.Normally we put 10 eggs inside. The maximum was 17 eggs so far.The less eggs you put in an incubator -the better. The more incubators your friend uses the better.
Do you know the subspecies of the Peregrine your friend will breed?
Out of curiosity-how much will cost to buy a TOP female Peregrine if trapped from the wild with CITES papers and proper ring in Qatar ?

have a look at this site it might give you a rough idear.of how many eggs you can fit in.
and what size turning ring you will need.

Hi Siberia
Thanks for the comments,as for my friend plans to breed Peales peregrine, as for the prices for the top female peregrine it depends when you are buying the falcon but the average price between 1000$ to 5000$.
All the best

ive only used the turn x 6 model and i personaly think
its a great little incubater.a bit fiddley trying to turn the tempriture control
and geting it set perfectly.but the turn x 7.as a Ten Turn Solid State Temperature Control designed to operate in a range of approximately 90 degrees to 106 degreesF. Each 360 degree turn of the control covers approximately 1.7 degrees for precise temperature setting. there for even better than the turn x 6.so i would say it would be a great little incubater.
the only thing is the turn x can be a little noisey.

This is the incubator I like most.I used to have Brinsea and a German made still air "Walter & Kunz".The last two were too expensive and not reliable regarding moisture level.I ordered 3 TX-7 recently.I have one remark only-I was waiting too long for the shipment.Otherwise all the fertile eggs incubated so far with TX 7 / duck, goose, chicken,Golden eagle,Bonelli eagle and various falcons/ were hatched on 100 %.Eggs are turned manually. Some years ago 2 peregrine eggs cracked when turned automaticly.I pay 250 EURO per incubator incl.shipment and 20 % VAT.
