Right Guys
I'm posting this query on behalf of a friend who has a 12 yearold egglaying F/RT. I myself have little knowledge of RTs and even less of AI, so forgive me if my ignorance gets in the way of conveying the query.
My friend has told me that the bird has been with a male in the past but has failed to produce fertile eggs. At the moment she is not with a male and is 'calling' and is behaving as if she were an imprint i.e 'standing' for him. Based on her previous history with a male bird he feels she would not stand for another male.His question is -is there anyone on the forum who has used AI on a RT and more precisely is there anyone here in Northern Ireland who has used it?
Any advice guys?
